Episode 14 – CruzerLite Contest

CruzerLite contest via special guest Scotty Brown and the folks over at CruzerLite. We give away a total of 6 gift cards on air. This week the Android Jellybean rumors were turned up to 11, getting a sneak peak from an online bechmarking site. Is the next Nexus going to be Android 4.1 running on a 7″ Tegra 3 tablet dubbed the Nexus 7? I guess we’ll find out at Google IO 2012 in a few weeks. ASUS might be doing something exciting with Android and Windows, we’ll find out at Computex 2012. The SGS3 officially launched this week around the world. Viewsonic is manufacturing a 22″ tablet…er TV..or computer? Man that things huge! Oracle essentially lost their law suit vs Google. The judge ruled that Java API’s were not copywrightable and able to be used freely. Google began selling accessories for the Galaxy Nexus via the Play Store.

Episode 13 – Google did NOT infringe

We visit nVidia’s Tegra 3 roadmap, LTE is coming. HP’s HTML5 WebOS team goes Google, what could that mean for Chrome OS and/or Android? Google+ for Android gets a major UI overhaul, some love it and some hate it. Amazon allows users to now Test Drive apps prior to buying them. Select Verizon phones are going global. Do you like statistics? Android now has 59% of the smartphone market according to the IDC. Last, but not least the jury finds Google did NOT infringe upon Oracle patents.
